Bridge plans are most commonly utilized as nutritional supplements to the true structure plans. The fundamental types of sheets at a set of bridge programs involve General programs, Notes, Structural drawings, Contractor programs, and quantity quotes. This guide will briefly detail each one of the aforementioned.
General Plan
It comprises a planning perspective, which is the bridge seen from the top and an elevation view, that’s the bridge seen from the back.
The plan view provides:
• The exact location of the bridge
• Degree of skew
• Centerlines for the roadway, bridge construction, and posture
• Lengths of individual spans and the whole bridge
• Widths of sidewalks & parapets
• Hurdles the bridge is intended to cross
The altitude view provides:
• Actual and projected ground lines
• Elevations of highways, water pipelines, and railroads, respectively to be traversed

Bridge structure drawings contain railing information, pile splicing methods, bearing assembly details, etc.. Generating new drawings with these features is a time-consuming and repetitive process.
Contractor Plans
In addition to the general bridge strategies, some plans are provided by the Contractor for Road construction company in Ratnagiri. These programs include the Contractor’s proposed method of meeting particular design requirements and provisions. In all cases, Contractor programs need to be submitted and accepted by the Engineer of Record (EOR).
Below mentioned items require approval from the EOR:

• Deck pour chain
• Traffic management strategy
• Erosion prevention strategy
Any work started before approval is done at the risk of the Contractor. The Contractor programs are approved for design attributes.
